Game Plan 4/1


Another week, another menu to plan.  To be totally honest, I have total burnout on meal planning this week.  I'm digging through my boards on Pinterest to find something to cook.  I've been gearing up to do another round of Freezer Meals, but I'm still trying to whittle down the last of what I have.  I've also been exploring the unlabeled stuff in my freezer, while crossing my fingers that it is good!
When planning meals, I check the local produce sales and ask the family if they have any requests.  This week's request BURGERS!!  It was unanimous!  We are all about the grill this time of year!  I can't wait to show you how I make my Blue Cheese Burgers--they are to DIE for!!  

Monday: Revised and healthy version of this Artichoke Chicken (recipe to come)
Tuesday: Crockpot Chicken Teriyaki from Ring Around the Rosies Freezer Meals with homemade Teriyaki sauce (I want to see if I like this recipe before I freeze a bunch of it!)
Wednesday: Blue Cheese Burgers on Soaked Buns and Black Bean Salad (post to come)
Thursday:  Cabbage Soup (from the freezer)
Friday: Chorizo Style Tacos w/Guacamole Salsa from Frosted Bake Shop
Saturday: Baked Pasta with Butternut Squash and Goat Cheese from Foodess
Sunday: Broccoli Salad and Bird Nest Treats for Family Dinner

Alright!  That's a week worth of food, using what I have in my freezer and what is in season.  And I should have enough extra time to finish my 40 days 40 bags Challenge.  Happy Easter Week!

p.s. I just realized it is April Fool's and I played no jokes today....I am very sad about this!
